The following images depict the first attempt of replicating a potential-shunt coil, as employed in the original Alexanderson Antenna transmission design. Such antenna configurations were employed in Bolinas California, with one example (Grimeton SAQ) still in operational status. The potential coil replicated, shown in figure 1, consists of an eight foot wide by 6 foot tall coil, consisting of ten individual winding layers. Each layer possesses supporting insulators for holding eight conductors in total per layer. The novel simplicity of a multiplicity of coil windings upon a single form, allows for the achievement of low frequency (L.F.) operation, whilst maintaining efficiency to a decent degree, as well as a lessening self-capacity, in contrast to vertically wound L.F. coils.

Shadowgraph Tube – Emission Pattern
The following figure represents the emission pattern of rays emanating from a Tesla style Shadowgraph Tube, suspected to be producing the effect of radiant matter via a mono-heated cathode electrode of Aluminum.
Measurements were obtained with a standard GM tube at varying distances, indicated by the circular lines measured in twenty foot intervals. The top of the diagram represents the forward facing direction of the tube with respect to the electrode’s surface, and likewise, the opposite direction of which resembles the backside of the tube. Observations were also determined at right angles to the tube, indicated by the perpendicular dotted lines, as well at forty-five degree angles in both forward and opposite directions. The intensity of the emitting rays is determined by the reference key in the diagram, measured in units of mili-Rems. Notice, the vast range of the tube’s rays, extending themselves to distances in excess of four hundred feet.
It must be noted that the safety associated with these rays have thus far concluded themselves to induce no adverse effects on biological organisms and species. The reader will find the following article of interest which pertains to the matter, as directed by Griffin G. Brock.

Earth Ground Impedance Measurements, Coil Properties, Ferrite Cores
Recently, fellow colleague Hakasays had designated time to visit Eric Dollard in Tonopah, and assist in finalizing the Earth ground connection at the lab site. Further testing was accomplished after welding of the water tanks was completed, of which radio frequency was supplied to the connection via a coil setup. As shown in previous work, the same 1860 Kilocycle coil was employed in the first round of testing with the tanks, although it was soon found that this coil possesses some inadequate characteristics. These burdening attributes were also found to be true with the use of #43 ferrite as well as #61 ferrite cores for coil to ground impedance matching. The following videos demonstrate the overall efforts made at EPD Labs during this duration.

Initial Telluric Work at EPD Laboratories, Tonopah Nevada
In early January of 2022, the team members of EPD Laboratories gathered in Tonopah for the development of a more established Tesla radio broadcasting point over the duration of a few days. A dual set of coils which was specifically constructed for this operation was brought to Tonopah for further investigation. The initial constraints for this operation was to employ the pre-existing buried water tank reservoirs located near the building as a ground point termination for the transmitting and receiving apparatuses, granted these tanks possess low electrical impedance for the corresponding transmit signal. It should also be noted that this ground system is suitable for power line interference monitoring systems, as a future project for EPD Labs is to further analyze the vast sea of zero sequence harmonic currents which are produced by the power grid.
The video below shows the progress which was carried out during this duration, showing the telluric coils used for operation, and related radio frequency apparatuses. The general frequency being employed in this configuration is 1.86 Megacycles, allocating all transmission in the middle of the 160 meter amateur radio band.
If the experimenter wishes to replicate the coils used in the video, or desires to investigate the complex properties of a Tesla Resonant Transformer, then the following engineering report should be adhered to. This report outlines the dimensions, physical and electrical characteristics of the coils, and gives examples of telluric testing. It should be borne in mind that certain information given in the report regarding impedance matching transformer cores is considered slightly out of date, since the ferrite material initially used has been replaced with lower attenuation cores.

Cosmic induction generator
This is a project that I (Aaron Murakami) have been working on for a while. It is engineered by Eric Dollard and built by myself mostly from scratch. Jeff Moe helped with machining some of the parts but most is hand fabricated with hand tools on my work bench.
There are multiple applications for the system when completed or in other words a lot of different experiments that can be performed because it is being designed to be universal.
We have a bit more to do for the audio rack and still have to do the entire RF rack – next year’s conference will have some of the most incredible Tesla experiments most people have ever seen or heard of.

The Crystal Radio Initiative is a challenge to create a Tesla type Crystal Radio that can receive enough electricity from the ground to power bulbs, motors and other electrical devices.
So far, several experimenters have been able to power small bulbs (not LEDs) and small motors and ultimately, the Grand Prize would be given to someone that can light up a 100 watt bulb.
At the 100 watt level, that would require an enormous ground system, which most people don’t have access to, but even lighting a 5 watt bulb is worthy of praise.
You see, it is commonly thought that AM radio waves only travel through the air, which are received by an antenna. Those would be transverse or electromagnetic waves, which diminish in strength the further they travel.
However, Tesla knew something else, which is not widely known and that is the fact that every AM station is simultaneously transmitting it’s signal through the ground longitudinally – and that signal does NOT diminish over distance in the same way. That means that receiving the longitudinal transmission allows you to have much more energy that can be used to power bulbs or other devices. This is a Tesla style longitudinal transmission or dielectric/electrostatic transmission.
This entire project has been open sourced on my official discussion forum at Energetic Forum along with schematics, operating theory, and even a handful of pictures, videos and data of replications from some of the regular members such as dR-Green and others.
Another point of interest with this project is that the ground transmission happens at a speed that is not limited to “light speed”. You could say that it is “faster” than the speed of light or more correctly, extraluminal. Extraluminal transmission means that the signals are propagated in a way that are not subject to light speed limitations.
On the surface, this may seem to violate popularized “laws of physics” but shortly, you will see that it is a simple mathematical and engineerable fact.

The Power Of The Aether As Related To Music And Electricity
Eric Dollard demystifies the aether and gives it tangible form and substance while attempting to demonstrate how it is the medium of creation. Below is a synopsis of each section of this presentation that is nearly 4 hours long!
Introduction
For many years, it was thought that there were magical interactions between things at a distance much like quantum physics of today.
Michael Faraday developed the ideas of the Lines of Force, which shows the interconnectivity between electrified and magnetized objects.
J.J. Thomson is the key person here who allowed us to express this in simple mathematical form.
Aether, Electricity & Life
This section explores the all-permeating golden ratio log periodic structure. It regulates the process of life and creation. It is the geometric basis for it. This is demonstrated through the Tesla monopolar electrical discharge. Once this discharge manifests, the process follows the morphic fields, which are the potential forms that exists in the aether. Gustav LeBon’s work is important in understanding these concepts.
Levitation & Harmonics
The Walls of Jericho are not an energetic process but are a direct result of the action of the aether upon the structure of matter. The binding forces that hold matter together are neutralized causing it to fall apart. It appears that this process can be used in reverse to cause the creation of matter. This is a primary process of the aether.
An example of something that is an energy process is Tibetan rock launching. It is thought that the rocks are levitating, but it is not levitation in the normal sense. There is a convergence of harmonic sounds, which results in a cumulative energy process. This concentrates all of this energy in a very short period of time with a very intense magnitude, which is known as an impulse. This does not levitate the rocks, but rather launches them into the air in a normal physical trajectory. This is the process of harmonic energy convergence.
Substation Of God
This is an analogy between church architecture and electrical substations. This converts very dangerous potentials into a safe and manageable form.
The impedance of the transformer at a substation performs this transformation just like the pipe organ performs this transformation in the church. They can only couple so much energy before destroying themselves. In the church, the equal temperament scale is what tames the energy.
The roof of the church is metal, which becomes radioactive with a very tall antenna, which becomes a capacitor that polarizes the aether inside the building. The church becomes highly electrified during cosmic events, which is not a daily phenomena. The electrification is channelled through dielectric induction into the substance of the building and this allows people listening to this music to experience supernatural phenomena.
The entire process is modulated by the pipe organ so that the sound interacts with the dielectric induction and consequently the aether. The formative forces take control during these events and produce the subjective sensation that the church is literally going to explode. The individuals experiencing these processes become separated from their bodies and become one with the form and field within the church. This is something that cannot be called upon at will but is made possible during times of cosmic convergences.
Universe Alpha Vs. Universe Omega
Originally, mankind was on a path that is in alignment with the harmonic natural laws of the universe. This was from the time of Pythagoras up to Johann Sebastian Bach. Then, the big shift came. This divergence basically turned everything inside out. All of this understanding has become denied and despised. There has been a deliberate attempt to make this knowledge suppressed and outlawed.
Today, we are still on this dark road into the abyss. Mankind is denied any further connection with the cosmos. What has been substituted are the notions of evolution, relativity and quantum mysticism and mankind only exists for its economic value and is reduced to a component in a telephone exchange. Communism is the flower of all of this and the faces of its leaders speaks for itself.
Pythagoras The Gateway
Pythagoras takes us back to Universe Alpha by retracing his steps. During his time, people had higher levels of power and deeper understanding of the mysteries of the Universe. He created the basic structure of music and its intervals and later Plato turned this into the musical scale. The original science of music was to understand the harmonic laws of the universe rather than for purposes of entertainment, which was highly rejected. This lays the foundation for music as we know it in our culture today.
Plato And The Demiurge
Plato extends the teachings of Pythagoras in encrypted and enigmatic forms, which are still not thoroughly understood by scholars to this day. The Demiurge was the cosmic engineer holding the musical scale, which represents the creation of the universe. The end result was the diatonic musical scale, which is the foundation for the musical scale, which exists today in our culture.
Musical Scales
This goes into a full discussion of the log periodic and Versor form of the musical scales as they exist both today and in antiquity. This connects it back to the log periodic form of life and its creation through the log periodic spiral.
Dark Ages To Renaissance
All of this information went underground in the dark ages and most of the proponents for this were killed. At this time, we were given the first Theory of Relativity that declared that instead of being in a heliocentric universe, we existed in a geocentric universe. This was proposed by Ptolemy and it was enforced with an iron fist for a millennia resulting in the death of many philosophers.
In the middle ages, neo-Pythagorean and neo-Platonic thinking was reawakened and there was light at the end of the tunnel leading back to Universe Alpha. This was the period at which the cathedral and pipe organ and the development of music started to take hold. This was when the substation of God was reinvented and music was composed for cosmic purposes. This led to the renaissance, which was the re-awakening of classical thought.
Kirchner, Fludd & Kepler
The renaissance led to development of the knowledge of Kirchner, Fludd and Kepler. This led back to the harmonic laws of the universe and the engineering of music into its current form.
Kirchner represented the knowledge of Church as a Jesuit scholar. He was considered the most knowledgeable man in the known world of his time.
Fludd takes us back to the occult knowledge of the ancients. He was attempting to preserve this knowledge before it became lost forever. This necessarily put him at odds with the church.
Kepler developed the geometric aspect of the harmonic laws of the universe. He took us from a geocentric universe back to a heliocentric universe.
All three of them contributed extensively to the advancements in musical theory and re-established the concept of the music of the spheres as originally understood by Pythagoras. And with the uprising of Martin Luther, the church lost its power over these matters.
Bach And Symmetrical Co-Ordinate Systems
Bach is the synthesis of all of this by developing a truly cosmic music, which transcended space, time and matter and could bring the substation of God into its full power. He was the Tesla of music.
The Aether Physics Of J.J. Thomson
Thomson came up with the dynamics of Faraday’s Lines of Force, which he called Tubes of Electric Induction and this became an engineerable manifestation of the aether even though the aether itself remains an unknown.
His most important concept is that the aether is the storehouse of momentum. This means that when the aether is electrified, it exhibits the properties of a substance with inertia and momentum that acts upon physical matter.
This leads to an understanding that matter in and of itself is an accretion of the aether. Thomson shows that the aether is a substance that is directly engineerable both mathematically and in concrete form and that there is a direct equivalence between aether and matter.
J.J. Thomson’s work has not been understood very well as there is no continuity between the variables used in his mathematical equations. One letter may represent something in one part of his writings and it may mean something entirely different in another. Part of this work has been to straighten out the confusion in his book Electricity and Matter so that others can begin to see what he was getting at. This has never been done until now!
This is the practical foundation for not only understanding the physics of the aether, but in being able to apply practical engineering to it.

History, Theory & Practice Of The Electrical Utility System
(1) INTRODUCTION
Presently, much discussion exists regarding the proliferation of harmonics in the electric utility system. Moreover, the susceptibility of this system to damage or destruction from a well-positioned nuclear E.M.P. is a subject of great concern.
Such problems are not necessarily intrinsic to the process of electric transmission and distribution, but only present themselves when certain configurations exist within the electric utility system. Paramount in any transmission or distribution system is that such system must be a closed system, that is, the electromagnetic boundary condition must be maintained to the highest practical degree. This assures that the entry or exit of extraneous electric forces is minimized.
Presently, with regard to the electric utility system, the electromagnetic boundary condition is being violated in two ways;
1) By the ubiquitous employment of Wye to Wye connected transmission and distribution transformers, and related load configuration.
2) Through the extension of a common neutral connection throughout the entire electric utility system.
The widespread and enforced adoption of these practices has rendered the electric utility system an open system, or in other words, an antenna system, one of unprecedented proportions. The consequences must be obvious.
It is the objective of the following series of engineering reports to re-establish a fundamental understanding of polyphase alternating current, then apply this understanding to the analysis of the situation as it exists today with regard to the electric utility system.
(2) THE ENGINEERING DILEMMA
Electrical engineering in the digital age has taken a turn into the abyss. The engineering foundation so well established through the efforts of Arthur Kennelly, Charles Steinmetz, and other notables, has been outright abandoned. Engineers have been replaced by software technicians, and accordingly the electric utility system has become a morass of harmonics, parasitic oscillations, and stray currents. This malady is presently being carried out with deliberation, and moreover, being made law.
(3) THE SITUATION, THEN AND NOW
Kennelly once remarked that a properly designed three phase power system contains no significant harmonics. This may have been true in the era in which Kennelly lived, but presently the proliferation of harmonics in the electric utility system is rampant. In the manner of Oliver Heaviside, one may ask; If harmonics are a problem, then why allow them to begin with. The child exclaims, “The Emperor wears no clothes”!
In the early electrical age, the principal customer loads were the incandescent lamp of Thomas Edison, and the induction motor of Nicola Tesla. Neither were a source of significant harmonics. What harmonic content did exist was neutralized by the Delta connection of apparatus windings.
The concurrent development of long distance telephone served as a check upon the harmonic content of the electric utility system. In this era the long lines were of open wire construction and utilized voice frequency transmission, both of which are susceptible to power system interference. This situation led to the establishment of an administrative agency to co-ordinate electromagnetic compatibility between power and communication companies.
(4) THE GENESIS OF THE “HARMONIC PROBLEM”
Two principal factors led to the harmonic situation as it exists today in the electric utility system. One was the gradual adoption of a Wye connection of apparatus windings and load configurations, another was the increasing use of fluorescent lighting as a replacement for incandescent lighting.
The general use of a Wye connected transformer configuration grew out of the need to expand the load capacity of existing distribution systems to meet the ever-increasing demand for electric light and power. Delta to Wye system conversion allowed for a 173 percent increase in capacity while retaining the original transformers. The only additional requirement in this conversion is the system-wide installation of a fourth conductor, or system neutral. An additional benefit derived from the neutral was that the system could be referenced to Earth potential without the need for auxiliary apparatus, as was necessary in a Delta connected system.
The dominance of the Wye connected load grew out of the proliferation of large office complexes. The enormity of their lighting systems required a shift from the Edison three wire system to a Wye connected four wire configuration, this in order to provide a good phase balance to the electric utility providing the power for illumination. A significant penalty for this conversion is that while the Edison system suppresses the harmonics, the Wye system reinforces the harmonics.
The large-scale generation of harmonics began when the fluorescent lamp replaced the incandescent lamp in these large office complexes. The fluorescent lamp and its reactance ballast are a prodigious source of troublesome harmonics. Ultimately such a load should be Delta connected in order to suppress the proliferation of these harmonics into the electric utility system. However, such connection requires two pole rather than one pole switching and circuit protection devices, which increases the cost of installation.
In the electric age the primary windings of the distribution transformers supplying electric power to these lighting systems were typically Delta connected. This prevented entry of the harmonics into the electric utility system. The penalty was to be increased transformer heating.
(5) WYE CONNECTION OF TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS
The widespread adoption of Wye connected electric utility systems can be attributed to the efforts of the rural electrification administration, R.E.A. Here the objective was to significantly reduce the cost of delivering electric power to the more remote areas of the United States. Through the employment of the higher transmission voltages for the purpose of distribution, the “copper” cost was greatly reduced. Because no transformer was required to step down this transmission voltage to a distribution voltage, the cost of a distribution substation was obviated. The penalty for this practice was that the transmission system must also be Wye connected.
Another cost savings measure adopted by the R.E.A. program was the implementation of a multiple grounded neutral throughout the entire system. This neutral was made common to both the high side and low side of the distribution transformer, effectively bypassing the transformer. This practice significantly reduced the insulation requirements on an otherwise high voltage system. The penalty for this practice is the exposure of the customer to primary neutral transients, and difficulty in ground fault protection.
The practices instituted by the R.E.A. program significantly enhanced the ability of the resulting electric utility system to interfere with other services. Inevitably, what saved the power company money cost the phone company money, and endangered the customer.
(6) THE ELECTRIC UTILITY IN THE ELECTRONIC AGE
As society moved from the electrical age into the electronic age the situation of the electric utility system began to deteriorate. In the electronic age an ever-increasing proportion of the load presented to the electric utility system was to involve the conversion between the alternating current used for light and power and the direct current used for electronic devices. The conversion between A.C. and D.C., rectifiers and inverters, is verily a condition of “forcing a square peg into a round hole”. Accordingly, this process engenders a plurality of troublesome transients, particularly those associated with the silicon-controlled rectifier (S.C.R.), which ultimately spelled disaster for the electric utility system.
The harmonic malady was propelled forward by a shift in reasoning, this from the established viewpoint of electric transmission as an electromagnetic boundary condition (Maxwell-Heaviside), to the modernistic viewpoint of electric transmission as an electronic current (Lorentz-Einstein). In the modern viewpoint electricity was no longer propagation in the space enclosed by the transmission conductors, but the notion is that electricity is propagated within the transmission conductors themselves. Accordingly, in this view, the space surrounding the transmission conductors is void of any electrical activity. This mindset has made impossible any understanding of electric transmission and has sent electrical engineering back into its dark ages when electricity was regarded as a material substance.
(7) THE ELECTRIC UTILITY IN THE DIGITAL AGE
The electric utility in the digital age has arrived at a situation where all deleterious factors have merged into a common motive. Nicola Tesla would say “Commercial Enterprise has out-run technical competence”.
The vanguard is the ubiquitous eradication of the Delta connection of apparatus windings and load configurations. The entire electric utility system is undergoing a retrograde conversion, from what was an interlocked triple phase system, into a trio of independent singe phase systems. Moreover, the primary and secondary windings of all transmission and distribution transformers are being bonded together at their neutral points. This effort effectively bypasses the transformers, hence creating an extensive metallic pathway for the propagation of harmonics, oscillations, and disruptive transients.
In this digital age the load presented to the electric utility system is of a disruptive discharge nature. All contemporary power conversion methodologies employ the integration of switching transients in the conversion process between the utility system alternating current and the electronic (silicon) device direct current. In general, a true A.C. load is becoming non-existent.
It is the intrinsic nature of such transient waveforms to excite oscillations into the electric field surrounding the various transmission and distribution structures. These in turn intensify the already problematic harmonic waveforms. Moreover, the interaction of these electric oscillations with the semi-conductor devices results in a barrage of spurious frequencies. The plurality of these parasitic oscillations tend to merge into a unified oscillation through the common neutral connection, giving the ability to distribute interference on an unprecedented level. This situation alludes to electronic warfare, where consumer devices of foreign manufacture can be regarded as a “Trojan Horse”.
It has become evident to many that the aforementioned condition has created an unprecedented level of radio interference, particularly in the A.M. broadcast band. However, unlike the era of long distance telephone, no administrative agency exists to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in this digital age.
(8) EPILOGUE
It is important to recognize that the ultimate root of the problem here defined is sociological, not technological. The situation today resembles in many ways that which existed at the onset of the dark ages, when the first theory of relatively announced that the Earth is the centre of the universe, a notion brutally enforced by the corporate church.
Accordingly, any attempt toward re-mediation of the electric utility situation will be met with fierce opposition and nothing will change for the better. Such is the fate of the human species, it is written.

Eric Dollard’s Telluric Research
In 2007, the San Francisco Tesla Society visited me at my research facility in Landers, California. I insisted that we film a documentary covering the technology because it was about to be taken from me.
This was to include my research into earthquake detection and the general monitoring of longitudinal, electro-static signals emanating from the earth. This video tour documents the facility and the scientific achievement it represented.
This facility represents almost three generations of work starting with George Van Tassel at the Integratron, which is located next to this Landers Facility. The land owner Walter J. Deroche had commissioned me after the Integratron was taken from me and I needed another place to continue the work. So this began on Walter’s property roughly 1000 feet from the Integratron.
Walter’s idea was to build our own Naval Communications facility based on the materials that were moved from the RCA Station in Bolinas, California to Landers. This was a dream that we had both shared. At that point, I continued the research of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) on Walt’s property.
Ample assistance of materials were provided by Walt’s friends and associates who worked in the aerospace and telecom companies in the Southern California area. And much of the equipment was hand made by me from surplus gathered in the Los Angeles area.
Based on my knowledge that I gained from the Navy and Bell Telephone, I was able to build this equipment exactly to their specifications as can be seen in the photographs. The parts inventory that I gathered was massive. This derived from my 20 years of working in the surplus business in Los Angeles. (One part of the lifelong effort.)
Over a course of time, one of the biggest communications research installations in private hands grew out of this effort.
Under suspicious circumstances, Walt died but in the course of his passing had willed the installation to myself and the telephone line foreman who helped me build the place. Unbeknownst to me, efforts were made behind the scenes to tamper with the paperwork and the will. Eventually, the property wound up in the hands of an Olen Bales at which point a $250,000 ransom was demanded or he would destroy the station.
When the money was not forthcoming, Owen declared me a squatter and had the legal system remove me from my own installation and the facility was looted of all of my property, possessions and equipment at which point I became destitute in Lone Pine.
Considering that the installation was the most advanced “listening station” ever built outside of the control of the military, its loss was catastrophic and irreplaceable.
So, what was there? This film is a complete tour of the facility with me explaining the scientific significance of each and every component filmed. This includes the “antenna farm” which held Broadband High Frequency Antennas, Broadband Low Frequency Antennas, a Marconi Antenna, a Rhombic Antenna, an Earth Signal Antenna consisting of a Beverage Antenna and an Alexanderson Antenna in tandem.
It also had a stereo broadcast and receiving antenna for the entire high frequency band with worldwide range of reception. It allowed for the determination of the directional origin of the signals, which were heard in stereo. In effect, the Earth became a concert hall of enormous proportions. Unfortunately, before much of this could be recorded, the station was lost.
And then there was the Lightning Indicator system which measured the voltage gradient between the local sky and the ground, and set off an alarm when lightning was about to strike nearby.
For listening to signals in the earth, there was a series of sensitive microphones buried around the property, as well as the Alexanderson Antenna that consisted of a loaded pair of “above ground” and “below ground” lines that were compensated to eliminate speed of light propagation rate limitations. Each of these antennas is shown and explained out in the field, so you can see for yourself the physical structures used to accomplish these technologies.
All of these antennas produced their characteristic signals, all of which were routed back to a central signal processing area after going through an initial “lightning arrestor” filter. Then, each signal could be selected for individual monitoring. Most of these signals were entering this area in the micro-volt range. These signals were then filtered to eliminate noise and interference, and then amplified back up to their original levels. Further amplification stages carefully brought the signals up to the kilovolt power levels.
After this, the signals could be amplified to be listened to through headphones, or through loud speakers, they could be viewed on oscilloscopes, or used to activate chart recorders, or even close relays to sound alarms. They could also be piped into a telephone line to be played to anyone else who was listening. And all of these output systems were completely compensated so they did not load the initial signal from the antennas in any way.
The entire facility was operated on battery supplies that were 100% isolated from the local utility. The signal processing was all done in the native, analog modem to preserve the fundamental character of the signals. There were no digital computers involved in the signal processing; only analog computers were used.
Many considered the design to be beyond brilliant, and much of the facility was operational. The last section includes over 20 minutes of listening to signals from the Alexanderson Antenna while watching them on an oscilloscope.

It’s hard to understand how historically important this film is, because it is the only detailed record of this facility ever made. Technically, the film has some weaknesses, like during the tour of the Antenna Field, the wind came up a bit and played havoc with the microphones. Even through this, my periodic comments reveal priceless details of the structures and their operation. Over all, the film may leave you breathless once you comprehend the scope and magnitude of the facility and what it represents. What you will see is the scope and function of the Landers Facility, which at the time was the culmination of my life’s work!

The Extraluminal Transmission Systems Of Tesla And Alexanderson
There was so much interest in the publication of my book in 2013, titled “Wireless Giant Of The Pacific“, it became obvious that people wanted more. This lecture is my response.
The objective here is to review the complete history of signal propagation from its earliest beginnings and to develop a “transmission theory” that includes both the electro-magnetic as well as the electro-static methodologies.
Our modern world depends on our ability to send and receive information quickly from one place to another. We’ve all heard that these signals are moving around at the “speed of light.” I review how these ideas became established and reveal some astonishing discoveries along the way.
You see, there are two different ways of looking at electricity when it comes to wireless signal distribution. One is based on the “electro-motive-force” associated with magnetism, and the other is the “displacement current” associated with dielectricity. Today’s methods focus mostly on the EMFs of magnetism and ignore the displacement currents of dielectricity. This creates an unbalanced system with significant limitations.
Only when both processes are equally involved can you create a balanced system. From this basis, I then go on to describe the terms that are used to characterize “transmission systems” in general, with the principle functions being “inductance” and “capacitance.”
To show this development in its proper historic perspective, I begin with the experiments of Stephen Gray in 1730, and show the progression of ideas through Benjamin Franklin, Mahlon Loomis, Heinrich Hertz, Nikola Tesla, Guglielmo Marconi, Reginald Fessenden, Walter Massie and Oliver Heaviside. There were other significant contributors, as well.
From this foundation, I use diagrams to establish the Michael Faraday – J. J. Thompson “lines of force” theory and then use that theory as a model to show how electrification orients itself in the different types of transmission configurations. This study is important because it demonstrates the relationship between the way the lines of force are directed and the direction of the propagation of the signals that are generated.
This method establishes the basic building blocks of a “transmission network” and the different configurations involved in electro-magnetic and electro-static propagation, as well as the different characteristics of transverse and longitudinal signals as they move through these networks.
Since actual working models of different transmission systems can be built and bench tested from this method, actual test results can replace mathematical calculations as a means to study these phenomena. The term “analog computer” is used to describe these models because direct measurements and computations can be made anywhere within the model during its operation.
I then move beyond the theory of how to do this and present actual working models and data with numerical values for given currents, voltages, and power flows through the transmission networks. No one has ever done this before!!
I finish by showing the complete electrical characteristics of the various transmissions systems used in the last 100 years. This includes the later Marconi systems, the Tesla system, and the later Alexanderson systems used at New Jersey, California, and Hawaii. This is the first time in history that this complete method of analysis has ever been revealed.
With this process, the electrical characteristics of any transmission system can be modelled, studied, perfected, scaled-up, and implemented on an industrial scale.
